TandemGhost v2.0 is a complete rewrite of the original pldTandemGhost script. The codebase has expanded significantly (Renderer alone is now 4485 lines of code) to support full physics simulation, visual fidelity, and stability.
🏗️ Architecture & Core Changes
Storage Migration: Recordings now save to data/<trackId>/ inside the app folder (instead of ScriptConfig). Includes automatic migration for old files.
Timing System: Switched from os.preciseClock() to state.recordingElapsed += dt. This makes playback immune to game pauses and frame drops.
Mirror Mode Logic:
Old: Time-based delay (e.g., ghost is 1.5 seconds behind).
New: Path-Distance Following. The ghost now calculates distance along the spline. It stays exactly X meters behind you (configurable), solving the issue where ghosts would crash into you during slow corners.
Replay System: Completely unlocked. The ghost logic now runs during AC Replays using nearest-neighbor search + segment interpolation.

The renderer has grown from a simple model drawer to a complex engine.

Full ini file parsing (car, suspensions, tyres, lights).
Smoothing algorithms (Y_SMOOTH_SPEED) for terrain handling.
Custom HLSL shaders for light glow and wetness.
Multi-ghost support (Tandem Pair uses a fully independent second renderer instance).

cant un zip the file
You can watch the tandem replay with the ghost, but after saving and reloading the replay, only your own car remains.
It won't turn on and why?
absolutely awesome, i very much recommend this mod, the author of this is awesome too!
