Vae Steering HUD brings your steering input on screen in real time through a clean, customizable overlay built for drifting, recording, and streaming in Assetto Corsa. The initial release includes 18 selectable wheel designs, with more planned for future updates as the collection grows through community requests and contributions from other people.
If there is a specific steering wheel you would like added to the app, send me a DM with a clear, front-facing, high-quality PNG of the wheel on a transparent background.

REQUIREMENTS
- Assetto Corsa for PC
- Content Manager
- Custom Shaders Patch 0.3.0-preview445 recommended
INSTALLATION
1. Close Assetto Corsa
2. Download Vae_Steering_HUD_v1.0.0.zip from this post
3. Drag the ZIP file into Content Manager and select Install
4. Start a driving session and open *Vae Steering HUD* from the right-side app bar
- For manual installation, extract the ZIP and copy the Vae_SteeringHUD folder into assettocorsa/apps/lua/
USING THE APP
- Open Settings from the app top right corner to change the wheel, HUD size, opacity, steering-angle display, and shadow.
- Open the wheel gallery to search, select favorites, or browse the full collection.
- Right-click an adjustable setting to restore its default.
PRIVACY
Vae Steering HUD has no accounts, advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking, or network requests. Settings and favorites are stored locally.
