The first public open-source version of Vae Roof Cam is released on VOSAN. Vae Cam v1.1.0 is the enhanced paid version, rebuilt with cockpit camera editing, improved controls, safer per-car saving, and expanded preset management.
Vae Cam is a compact in-game roof and cockpit camera editor for Assetto Corsa. It lets you adjust your camera live, save a permanent setup for each car, and create shareable custom presets without leaving the session.

REQUIREMENTS
- Assetto Corsa for PC
- Content Manager
- Custom Shaders Patch 0.3.0-preview445 recommended
INSTALLATION
1. Close Assetto Corsa
2. Download Vae_Cam_v1.1.0.zip from this post
3. Drag the ZIP file into Content Manager
4. Select Install
5. Start a driving session and open Vae Cam from the right-side app bar
- For manual installation, copy the Vae_Cam folder into assettocorsa/apps/lua/.
UPDATING FROM v1.0.0
Open Vae_Cam once to migrate your existing presets and preferences. You can then remove the old Vae_RoofCam folder to avoid showing both apps.
PRIVACY
Vae Steering HUD has no accounts, advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking, or network requests. Settings and favorites are stored locally.
